The non-profit association "Verein zur Förderung der Informatik an der TU Kaiserslautern" e.V. (FIT) has made it its goal to support computer science as an academic discipline in general, and in particular, to promote the field of computer science at the Kaiserslautern University of Technology. This sponsorship is both dedicated to university research and science, and to the general training in the field of computer science. These objectives include the cultivation of contacts between science and practice. We, as a member of this association, support these activities.
The association wants to provide financial support to the field of computer science in order to achieve these objectives, but notably, it also wants to strengthen the contact between former and current students and members of this special field.
