2018 a year setting the course for our company's future - headcount increased by 20 percent
2018 will go down in the history of Fasihi GmbH as the most significant year. The company has set an important milestone by signing a long-term contract with the chemical company BASF SE for the global use of the Fasihi Enterprise Portal as well as for the IT services related to it. The new building under construction in Ludwig-Reichling-Straße at the Ludwigshafen Centre for Technology will lay the foundations for meeting our customers' wants and needs.
"We are very pleased with the last fiscal year," says company founder and chief executive Saeid Fasihi. Thanks to the good order situation, we once again employed new staff in 2018. The number of employees rose by 20 percent, from 75 by the end of 2017 to currently 90. They generated sales of EUR 7.2 million. The company is searching for further IT specialists, especially for Java programmers.
Sufficient workplaces will be made available for additional staff at the new company building into which we intend to move in July 2019. "On a surface area of more than 2.400 square metres, there will be modern workplaces for more than 100 employees for tackling the development of new and innovative projects," rejoices Fasihi. "Thus, we will be prepared at best for meeting our customers' high expectations also in the future."
Fasihi Enterprise Portal played a decisive part in setting the course
Werner Beutel, authorized signatory, head developer and member of the management, compares the previous year with 2004. At that time the company management decided to focus on their innovative in-house software solution: this became the Fasihi Enterprise Portal, with its nowadays more than 200 modules being in use at all their customers. "The success story of the Fasihi GmbH is based on this decision", says Beutel.
Rolf Lutzer appointed chief executive
In the past year, the company responded to the sharp rise in revenues and staff growth by appointing Rolf Lutzer as their second chief executive . "Thanks to the excellent work of our staff, the fiscal year 2018 was again very successful. Customer satisfaction as well as the satisfaction of our employees are of paramount importance to us. The course for this has been set," says Lutzer. "This includes the establishment of the new 'App Development' department in the previous year." The developers' primary objective is to develop apps for smartphones and tablets for our customers to support their work."
Growth champion for third time
In view of the company development, it almost seems natural that Fasihi GmbH once again belongs to the 500 Growth Champions with the highest sales increase in Germany for the third time after 2016 and 2017. The champions were nominated by the news magazine FOCUS BUSINESS in cooperation with the institute for statistics "Statista".In the industry of "IT, Internet, Software and Services" Fasihi was ranked number one in terms of turnover and staff in Rhineland-Palatinate.
Social commitment via integration platform
In February 2018, BASF released the online platform "alvivi" on which offers are bundled around the topic of integration within the Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region. As part of their social commitment, Fasihi GmbH provides the corresponding web platform based on the Fasihi Enterprise Portal. Moreover, their chief executive Saeid Fasihi has been appointed commercial judge at the Frankenthal Regional Court .
Lifelong learning with Fasihi Academy
The Fasihi GmbH has invested and continues to invest a great deal of time in the further training of its employees. In the company-owned Fasihi Academy , new employees receive intensive preparation for their future tasks. Long-term employees are also regularly trained. "This continuous training is indispensable for the further development of our company. Only if we are always at the cutting edge of IT technology and pass on this knowledge to our customers will we be successful in the market in the long term," Rolf Lutzer is convinced.
Fasihi Academy also ensures that: customers from various industries are primarily trained in the use of about 70 portal solutions with which more than 80,000 users work. In most cases, these portals are used for digital representations of information and communication processes in the context of industry 4.0.
